6 Tips to build your LinkedIn presence:
1. Create Showcase Pages
A Showcase Page promotes a specific product or service that your business offers. Showcase Pages show up on the right-hand side of your page. With these pages a business can promote a specific product, rather than your business as a whole. Showcase Pages have their own analytics, so you’ll be able to track visitor interest,
To create a Showcase Page, click Edit tab on your company page and select Create a Showcase Page. Fill in specific information for your product or service. LinkedIn allows you to set up ten Showcase Pages.
2. Follow Us
This easy-to-install icon can help increase your traffic and engage with your brands. You can generate a button for your Company as well as Showcase pages. BONUS TIP: Add a LinkedIn icon to your business website to drive traffic to your LinkedIn page.
3. Don’t forget about SEO
A LinkedIn Company Page is SEO-friendly. Google previews just over 150 characters of your page’s text so make sure that your brand description is heavily tailored to be concise and impactful, and also includes the right keywords.
4. Careers Tab
Build your employer brand and attract top talent with LinkedIn Career Pages. If you are not utilizing the Careers tab section of your Company Page, you will see a default image of your logo icon and some default text that says “Learn more about our company and culture.”
5. Use LinkedIn Analytics for continuous improvement
Make sure someone is monitoring and reporting on progress of your LinkedIn business page. Identify which LinkedIn posts are driving engagement and with whom and see the network size and demographics of key influencers interacting with your content.
The updates you share to your LinkedIn Company Page are now going to be front and center on the main Home tab. Images from your updates will be larger and more visible as well! Post your company status updates manually rather than by relying on third-party applications.
New targeting options for your updates are also available. In other words, you can decide which groups of followers you would like to target with each specific Company Page update.
Regardless of your size, if you offer products or services to other businesses, creating an engaging company page on LinkedIn is critical to your growth and success.
